3/32 South Hazelrigg Farmhouse


Farmhouse. 1828 for Carnaby Haggerston. Ashlar with welsh slate roof. 3 x 2
bays with service wing to rear forming an L. Central staircase plan, double
range. Round arched central doorway with slightly projecting key stone. Fanlight
with glazing bars. Datestone above door.

12-pane sashes on ground floor,renewed sashes above, 12-pane sashes to rest
of house and round-arched staircase window. Gabled roof, end stacks.

Good early C19 interior with original staircase, inner doorway with 6-panelled
door and glazed side lights, broad fanlight over. Internal shutters and 6-
panelled doors.
