by Mr. A. Thompson
House, probably C18 remodelled c,1830. Squared stone with tooled-and-margined
dressings, rendered: red tile roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central
renewed door under flat-pointed head, with hoodmould; flanking bays have 3-light
mullioned windows. Cross windows in coped half-dormers,with kneelers, above.
Coped gables with kneelers, stepped and corniced end stacks with conjoined shafts,
corbelled out. Left return shows 1st floor window with wooden latticed glazing,
right return shows similar window on ground floor; projecting base course stops
short of later outshut, with boarded door and 3 Yorkshire sashes to rear.
