Includes No 1 Fore Street.
Early C19, curved and returned to Fore Street. 3 storeys. 2 windows to the
Market Place 1 on the curve and 1 to Fore Street. Painted brick with stone
quoins, lintels and cill strings. Glazing bar sash windows with exposed frames.
Low pitched slate roof. Late shop front with large plate glass windows, and
a glazed door on the curve. Pilastered doorcase to Fore Street with rectangular
light above door and simple entablature.
Flat bay shop window on right facing Market Place:- arched with dog tooth labels.
Recessed central entrance with cast iron gates in front.

St Andrew's Church together with the listed buildings in the Market Place, form a group,
of which Nos 8, 10 and 16 are of local interest.
