5/22 Coach House at
Coach house. Late C19. Red and yellow brick. Hipped slate
roof. Yellow brick eaves band. Set on a plinth. 2 storeys, 4
bays. First floor yellow brick band with band of decorative
terracotta panels. Ground and first floor sill and hood mould
bands. Large triangular arched doorway with plank door. To the
right is a single round arched casement with hexagonal and
lozenge glazing bars, further right is a part blocked triangular
arched doorway and on the far right a single similar blocked
window. Above is a pair of similar lights and to the right a
single similar light, a triangular arched doorway with plank door
and on the far right a single similar window opening. In the
left wall is a doorway. Above is a circular fixed light with
decorative glazing bars flanked by single recessed panels with
yellow brick surrounds and containing single painted shields
decorated with single fleurons. To the right is a projecting 4
storey tower formerly topped with clock but now with C20 stack.
Yellow brick cornice with yellow brick attentuated brackets. Set
on a plinth. Ground and first floor hood mould bands. First,
second and third floor bands, all yellow brick. Triangular
arched doorway with double door. Above, similar pair of window
openings, the right with glazing bars. Above, single rectangular
inset panel with yellow brick blind lancets. On the top floor is
a single rectangular panel with yellow brick surround and inner
yellow brick panel containing a single decorative quatrefoil.
