The Cottage

GV II

Small house. C18, possibly earlier. Brick on rendered plinth; thatch roof with
brick and rendered gable stacks. 2-unit plan. One storey plus attics. Front has
two 2-light casements, and doorway to extreme right, and a small inset roof
dormer. Left end wall has a segmental-arched 3-light casement and an added
stack. Further stack at right end. Roof has 2 rows of projecting purlins.
Interior not inspected. Probably originally timber framed. Included for group
value.
