House. Dated 1690. Roughcast front with rendered strips over uncoursed limestone
rubble. Gabled old tile roof; brick symmetrical end stacks, rebuilt in C20 and
late C19 brick. 2-unit outshut plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range.
Central C19 four-panelled door in heavy pegged frame: pediment hood set on
octagonal oak posts has pargetted front with date 16 TS1 90 and grapevine
decoration. Early C19 horizontal-sliding sashes: late C17 wood-mullioned cross
windows on first floor have late C19 casements. Gabled roof dormer with 2-light
leaded casement. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest. A fine
dated example of an early nearly symmetrical frontage, and a very rare pargetted
