Shown on Ordnance Survey map as Bylands.
Farmhouse. Mid C18, altered late C18. Marlstone ashlar, Welsh-slate roof with
ashlar gable stacks. L-plan. 3 storeys and 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front
has a central 4-panel door below a C19 gabled canopy and has tall casements with
flat arches and projecting keyblocks at ground and first floors; second floor is
an addition and has shorter casements. End walls show a steeper roof pitch.
Stepped chimney projection to left. Long 2-storey rear wing has segmental-arched
casements. Interior not inspected.
