Syccamore House and
attached boundary wall
House. Probably C18 remodelled early C19. Coursed squared rubble;
timber lintels; stone slate roof. 3 storeys; 3 window range. Central
door with reeded doorcase and flat hood on consoles. Ground and first-
floor windows have 16-pane sashes (2 windows to right of door), second-
floor casements also have glazing bars. 2 gable-end chimneys finished in
brick. Shaped iron ties. Stair tower to rear. Single-storey kitchen
extension to left has 3-light casement. Rubble front garden wall has
chamfered coping and iron gate. Interior not inspected but noted as
having a vaulted cellar.
