II

Mid C19 house built of red brick with stone dressings. It has similarities with
houses on the Calthorpe Estate at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Heavy stone eaves
cornice and stone string courses. Two storeys. West front 1: 2: 2 bays.
Sashes with glazing bars in moulded stone architraves, ground floor with cornice
hoods on console brackets. The end bays project and the porch bay on the right
projects slightly further, with parapet over eaves cornice and stone doorway with
engaged columns and entablature, round arched doorway and window above. The east
elevation has large stone semi-circular bay window on ground floor. Three storey
service wing to the north. The interior contains panelling probably re-set and
possibly from former house on site.
