Shown on O.S. map as Bowling Green House. House. Early C18. Red Brick on sandstone
plinth over cellars; plain tiled hipped roof. Two storeys; front of five bays with central
entrance; glazing-bar sash windows with gauged segmental heads and raised plastered
keystones; plain limewashed sandstone doorcase with moulded entablature; door C20.
Brick end pilasters extending up to moulded stone eaves cornice; brick end stacks
partially hidden behind roof ridge. Late C19 extensions to right and to rear of no
interest.
