Cottage. Mid- to late C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber
framed with plaster infill, painted uncoursed rubble to right gable
end; reed thatch roof. 2-cell plan with integral end stack. One storey
and attic. Framing: irregular square and rectangular panels with later
horizontal members to front and 2 panels from cill to wall-plate to
rear. Late C19 casements to left and right of contemporary boarded
door and 2 raking eaves dormers. Integral rubblestone end stack to
left with late C19 red brick shaft adjoining. Single-storey brick
lean-to below houses late C19 laundry. Single-purlin ends exposed
to right gable end and lath and plaster infill visible to one of panels in
back wall. Interior: not inspected but likely to-be of interest.
