Barn approximately 20m east of Old Rectory

Barn. Probably early to mid-C17. Timber-framed, part with painted brick
infill, part weatherboarded on rubblestone plinth, corrugated iron roof.
Open to roof except for loft over north and south bays; framing:
rectangular panels, two from cill to wall-plate, long straight tension braces; wide
garage doors to second bay from north, scattered stable doors and eaves
hatches. Interior: Queen-post roof, in five bays, one truss with re-used
curved braces from the tie beam. Probably the former tithe barn of the
adjacent Old Rectory (q.v.). Included for group value.
