Farmhouse. Early C17 refronted in late C18 with minor later additions
and alterations. Timber framed with red brick infill clad or rebuilt in
brick to front and gable ends; slate roof. 3-unit baffle-entry plan.
2 storeys and gable-lit attic. Front in 3 sections (straight joints)
with 3 late C19 casements, those to first floor directly below eaves and
those to left and right on ground floor segmental-headed. C20 gabled
brick porch immediately to left of centre window with red brick stack
immediately behind ridge above. Subsidiary internal end stack in front
of ridge to right. Framing to back wall: square panels, 3 from cill to
wall-plate with short straight tension braces. Interior. Inspection
not possible at time of resurvey (March 1987) but noted as having timber
framed cross walls and chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor.
