Cottage in row. Early C19. Brick, English garden wall bond, colourwashed Welsh slate roof continuous with neighbours;
brick chimney stack. Two storeys, 2 bays. Horizontal-sliding sash windows of 16 panes, set under false- keystoned
lintols; between bays a C19 flush-panel door in plain opening, gauged brick slightly segmental-arched head. Interior
not seen. Probably the best-preserved example of the first terrace of 'ribbon development' in High Street/West Street,
from 1820. (VCH, Vol III, 1974).
