2/203 Bridge, about 50 metres South
West of Kentsford Farmhouse

Bridge. Probably late Medieval in origin. Red sandstone and blue lias squared and coursed rubble, remains of saddleback
coping. 2 span, segmental headed arches, in all about 9 metres long and one metre wide partially covered by ivy at time
of survey (December 1983). South front centre has reset red sandstone cross about 600 mm high with chamfered section of
shaft from another structure below, its lower section below the path that runs beside the bridge; both appear to be
reset medieval work.
