Possibly former Poor House, subsequently 2 dwellings, now one cottage. C17, altered
later, undergoing restoration at time of survey (March 1985). Rendered over rubble,
slate roofs, brick stacks left gable end and between first and second bays left.
Plan: possibly 3-cell set into hill side, end bay right crosswing extension, possibly
non-domestic originally, full height gabled porch second bay left. Two storeys, 5 window
facade, all late C20 except for small 2-light chamfered mullion windows in gable end
of porch and on left return, gabled dormer left of lull height porch, 2 windows inserted
below eaves right, gabled cross wing lit gable end, lean-to single storey porch on
re-entrant angle of wing. C20 door, C19 plank door with decorative hinges in porch,
carved faces added gable end above and left gable end.
Interior not seen. Lower rubble wall with brick coping returned from left gable end
to porch and linking porch with right cross wing.
