Probably C16 in origin. Painted brick to earlier timber frame; 2 storeys
plus attic. Front has a slightly advanced gabled wine; at each side; 3
modern windows overall; stone chimney projects on returned side to
Newhall Street with later brick stack; modern scalloped barge-boards to
gables; tiles; modern shop fronts. Original roof truss end some framing
exposed internally.

No 7l to 79 (odd) and National Westminster form a group
