Parish church. 1819-20 by Joseph Potter with late C19 north aisle
by Stevens and Robinson. Red brick with stone dressings; tiled roof
with stone coped verge parapets. West tower, north aisle, nave and
chancel. Tower of two stages with diagonal buttresses also of two
stages; moulded cornice below crenellated parapets; Y-tracery bell
chamber openings, trefoil shaped opening to east side. Nave of four
bays divided by two stage buttresses; Y-tracery windows. Chancel of
one bay with diagonal buttresses; Y-tracery east window. North aisle
of late C19; four bays divided by gabletted 2 stage buttresses; stone
dressed, two light, pointed windows. B.O.E. p. 83.
