Pair of houses now one. Mid-C18 with mid to late C19 alterations.
Red brick; plain tile roof with raised verges; brick integral end
stack and brick ridge stack. 2 storeys with dentilled eaves course;
5 windows, glazing bar sashes, those to first floor left and right
are 4-pane C19 sashes, those to first floor left of centre and right
of centre are blind, all have shaped plaster heads, ground floor bay
window to left with moulded cornice and flat roof; C19 partly glazed
doors to left of centre and right of centre with flat hoods on console
brackets approached by flights of stone steps. Occupies a key position
in the main thoroughfare.
