GV II

House. Circa 1925-33. Buckland and Heywood. Red brick, Flemish bond, hanging
tiles to first floor. Hipped dark red plain tiled roof. External stacks to left
and right, that to left with shaped stone offset brackets above eaves. Two storeys,
3-window range, symmetrical facade with central doorway beneath small open pedimented
porch supported on timber columns, pilaster strips to rear. Fanlight with inter-
secting glazing bars. Door of 6 raised and fielded panels immediately to left and
right, a small vertically set oval light. Left and right tripartite horned sash
with glazing bars. First floor horned sashes, the outer windows of 4 x 4 panes,
the central window of 3 x 4 panes.
