Kersey established 1774. Interesting house and shop with many original
features from C15 to C18. 2 storey timber-framed and plastered, roofs
tiled. 2 attic dormers on front, 2 window range, projecting upper storey.
Cellars. Ground floor has original doorway at north end with 4-centred
head and carved spandrel. Fine oak door. Over it is a bracket to projecting
upper storey with remains of moulded capital and shaft. Traces of another
doorway with carved spandrels, over present shop door. There is a fine little
shop with 2 bays supported by wooden brackets and small panes with original
glazing bars. NMR photo.

Nos 45 to 55 (odd) form a group.
