6/20 The Homestead
House. Later C17. Large rear wing of 1971 incorporating older work. Timber
framed and plastered with a thatched roof. 1 1/2 storeys. 3-cell, lobby entry
type. 3 windows, C20 3-light casements. C20 thatched gabled porch with
boarded door. 3 gabled dormers. Internal stack with tall oblong C17 shaft.
C18 stack against rear of right gable end. Interior much altered: some plain
joists and studding.
