6/60 No.33 (Oak House)

House, at one time 2 cottages. Mid-late C17. Timber framed, roughcast
render, pantiled roof. 2-cell form. 2 storeys and attic. 2 2-light small-
paned casements to upper floor, with a mid C20 standard casement between. On
the ground floor, 2 mid C20 4-light casements with transom. Lobby entry: C16-
C17 plank door with moulded face, brought from a house nearby. Internal stack
with axial shaft. Interior. Some plain first floor studding with straight
bracing. On-edge floor joists are exposed in one room. Roof has stepped butt
purlins and arched collars attached to sides of main trusses.
