1/22 Garden gates and gate
- piers to south of Culford


A pair of low, heavy wrought-iron garden gates. Late C19. Each gate is opened
by a small wheel which runs round a grooved stone semi-circle on the ground. 2
stone piers. Early C19. Square, with tooled stone base and vermiculated
rustication: a frieze on each face has a medallion flanked by 2 paterae. A
stepped top, surmounted by a large urn.
