2/15 Red Lion Cottages [Nos. 1 to 4 (consec)]

GV II

Cottages. Early C18. Rectangular plan with outshuts at rear. Single storey
and dormers. Timber framed with painted brick face. Plain tiled roof with
gault brick stacks to ridge. 2 courses of slates to eaves; pantiled roofs to
outshuts. 4 dormers with shallow pitched lead roofs and casements. 4 windows:
to left hand end C19 3 light casement window with plank shutters, the others
C20 casements. Raised and fielded panelled door to left hand gable with hood
mould over.
