9/20 Tower of St.Andrew's Church
(Previously listed as part
7.12.66 of Church of St.Andrew)
Round tower of St. Andrew's Church, standing detached some 6m. from the main
building. Probably C12. Coursed flint rubble, late red brick crenellated
parapet. Late C13/early C14 east doorway; each quarter has one small lancet
window and a single light bell chamber opening; on the west side is an
additional lancet window with leaded panes.
