4/5 King's Farmhouse
Farmhouse. C17. Timber framed with colourwashed render and pantile roof.
Three cells. Single storey with attic. Road front: doorway at left with
½-glazed C19 door and three 3-light C19 and C20 casements with 4-centered
heads to the lights. The first floor has three 2-light gabled dormer
windows with 4-centered heads and to the ridge an axial stack at right of 2
flues. Right hand gable end: 2-light ground floor C20 window. Left hand
end: 2-light ground and first floor C20 casements. C20 single-flue chimney
at left. Single-storey outshut projecting at left. Rear: lean-to
conservatory at left. One ½-glazed doorway at left and a 2-light window at
right. Projecting outshuts to far right. Two flat-roofed dormer windows
to the attic.
Interior: chamfered ceiling beams to the ground floor.
