Entrance lodges and gates. Early C19. Stock brick with stone dressings under pan-
tiled roofs to lodges, stone piers and cast iron gates.
Lodges: c.45 feet apart. 1 storey and attic with gable front to street. Brick on
stone plinth with rusticated corner piers. Rendered string course over ground floor.
One sash window in arched rendered surround, round window above. Gabled brick and
pantile porches on inner return fronts containing doors, behind the screen walls.
Stone rusticated arched screen walls with vermiculated coping and central sphere
finial to sides. Cast iron semi-circular gates under each arch. Main gate piers to
centre approximately 10 feet apart and 20 feet high. Square with pedimented top
and sphere finials. Arched niches to front on vermiculated base with vermiculated
impost blocks. Carved greyhound and shield crests under pediments. Arched iron
gates to centre.
