War Memorial


War memorial. Circa 1920 by March and March. Portland stone with bronze
figures and shields. Tall square stone cenotaph on low, wide plinth, with
cornice, topped by winged female figure with wreath on globe. Low stone
piers on each side with oval shields carrying the names of the fallen, held
by one winged female figure to east and one to west.
