1837 [kneeler engraved "D.N, 18)7."]. Nodular flint with galleting. Red brick
dressings. Pitched slate roof. Ashlar gable coping and elaborate kneelers.
Last and west ends have 4 vertical ventilation slits and 1 window with iron glazing
bars, semi-circular relieving arches and battered sill courses. South side largely
masked by modern extension; also has ventilation slits and 2 planked double stable
Extensions to south forming a nearly enclosed courtyard. Flint, Red and yellow
brick dressings, Pitched tile roofs, Sides facing into courtyard open.
the courtyard, with the massive barn to the north, is an extremely picturesque
composition within the group as a whole.
