Barn. Late mediaeval with C18 or C19 alterations. Timber frame with
weatherboard cladding replacing wattle and daub panels. Warnham stone
plinth laid in herringbone pattern. Corrugated iron roof now gabled but
originally hipped with terminal gablets.
Five bay threshing barn with central opposing wagon entries. The entry on
north side infilled and boarded. A pitching door to left of south entry.
Jowelled bay posts. A single intermediate post and central intermediate
rails in each bay and in end walls, slightly curved tension braces remain
in most upper panels.
Slightly curved braces to principal beams. Crown posts with braced collar
purlin,collared rafter couples and original hip jack rafters. Later
studs in bay panels and gables. Group value with farm house (q.v.)
