5/41 Cullercoats
Vicarage of St. George.
Vicarage. 1884. Possibly by J.L. Pearson. Snecked sandstone with ashlar dressings;
roof of graduated Lakeland slate with rock-faced, polygonal, coped stone chimneys.
Irregular plan, double range. 2 storeys, 3 x 4 bays. East elevation has 2-centred-
arched door, under rock-faced arch and dripmould, set back in north porch;
projecting 5-light stone-mullioned bay at left; 3-light mullioned and transomed
window at right. Tripartite and 2-light windows above and on returns. Bargeboards
and stone finials to all gables.
