Pair of shops and dwellings. No.7 now a house, No.9 vet's surgery. Early C19.
Red brick with brick dentil cornice. Slate roof; no chimneys visible. L-plan. 3
storeys; 2-window range. Good contemporary double shop front: recessed glazed
doors and bay windows with glazing bars, narrow panels and fascia. Narrow
entrance on left to passage to rear. Entrance and part of No.7 now form part of
adjoining building, Nos.5 - 7 (q.v.). First and second floors have sash windows
with gauged brick flat arches. Long 2-storey contemporary brick wing to rear of
No.7. Interior not inspected.
