Shown on 0.S. map as Shelfield Square Farm.
Dovecote. C16. Red random bond brick. Old tile roof with open wood lantern.
Square plan; with gable to each side. Central plank door raised above ground
level. 2-light unglazed wood mullioned window below gable to each side. Right
return side window retains one leaded light. Interior: Paved floor. Nesting
places of brick with stone slabs. Upper floor inserted. Roof restored in part
has cross tie beams. Forms part of a group with cartshed (q.v.), Shelfield House
(q.v.) and gatepiers (q.v.).
