gatepier, Red House


Garden wall and gatepier. Wall early C18. Regular coursed drystone ironstone;
cemented top. Gatepier possibly early C20. Ironstone ashlar. Moulded cornice and
ball finial. Section of wall rebuilt curving back around War Memorial (not
included). Forms an important element in the street. Included for group value.
