SP4161 (East side)
House. Early CI7, with mid C19 alterations. Probably brick, cement-rendered to
front and sides, with plinth, pilasters to corners and to centre-left and
centre-right, and bracketed eaves cornice. Slate roof with rendered ridge and
end stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 4-window range of C19 twelve-pane sashes,
those to ground floor with margin bars. Ground floor windows have rendered
pilaster surrounds with moulded floods. First floor windows have shouldered
architraves. C20 door with rendered pilaster surround with hood. C19 brick
extensions to rear. Interior: C17 ovolo-moulded spine beam, and chamfered spine
beams to ground floor. C18 salt cupboard with butterfly hinges and small drawers
inside. Said to have original roof timbers. Included for group value.
