9/44 Blue Boar P. H.


House, now public house. C17 and early-mid C19 whitewashed sarsen
and chalkstone. Tiled roof. 2-storey, 4 narrow bays, the left bay
containing major stack. Originally with central stair hall, now
removed. C20 pair of doors and canopy. 4-pane sashes with
segmental heads to ground floor. Cogged eaves and gable stacks.
Interior with chamfered spine beam and ogee stops, and large
fireplace with stone jambs and chamfered timber firebeam. Blocked
C17 window adjacent.
