1/67 The Game Larder south east of the
demolished mansion

Game-larder, c1870, possibly by W. Burn for J.W.G. Spicer, red
brick with ashlar dressings and slate steep octagonal roof with
bellcast eaves, and large louvred octagonal lantern. Octagonal
plan with long 2-light mullion windows each side and projecting
gabled porch with bargeboards and double doors in Tudor-arched
surround. Built in association with the demolished mansion of
1864-8.
