The following building was de-listed on 24th March 1997.

11/257 Officers' Mess, Mooltan Barracks

Officers' Mess. 1905 for cavalry, now 1st Battalion the Queens
Regiment. Red brick in English bond, slate roof. Two storeys, 7
bays. Symmetrical, with central entrance loggia of brick piers and
2 Ionic columns in antis, simple cornice and parapet with a central
balustraded section. Two bays of windows over between brick
pilasters supporting an open dentilled pediment. A crowned shield
bearing inscription E.R.1905 within wreath. Wings either side have
plat band and canted ground floor bay windows with stone parapets,
paired windows over. Plate glass sashes throughout. Timber
dentilled cornice and brick stacks. Further 4-bay recessed wings
at each end similar, but that to left has an extra bay with
segmental pedimented doorcase on columns. Various added structures
to rear. Austere late classical design in hard, sharp profile;
unaltered externally.
