Boundary post. 1840. Cast-iron cross-piece on wooden post. Right
arm with SUTTON VENY, left arm with LONGBRIDGE DEVERILL, shaped
piece below with 1840/C & M/W, representing Carson and Miller a
firm of ironfounders in Warminster. One of a series of cast-iron
boundary posts in the Wylye Valley.
