Midd/late C18. 2 storeys and basement. Red brick with stone quoins. Built out
at right angles to house. Double roman tiled roof, half hipped to west. Most
windows to south east have slab surrounds - 1 flush - on 1st floor, 3 raised on
ground floor with moulded outer edge and beaded inner (glazing bar sashes). Various
casement windows, 1 with timber lintel on 1st floor to left. Gable with chimney
to left of centre. Lower ground floor with blocked segmental archway, and a doorway
to left; modern doorway to right with a blocked window to left of it. Glazing
bar casements (4) on north west side.

Nos. 50 to 58 (consec), workshop at rear of No 58, entrance screen principal Factory
and Handle House at Studley Mills form a group.
