7/42 Nos 16 (The Vine House) and
No 18


Two cottages, formerly one house in row. Late C18. Painted
squared rubblestone, double Roman tiled roof, rebuilt brick stacks.
Symmetrical 2-storey, 5-window front. No 16 has 6-fielded panelled
door in finely moulded stone case with semi elliptical head and
flat stone hood on scrolled brackets. Windows to right are two 2-
light cyma mullioned to left is one 2-light cyma mullioned window
and inserted door in No 18. String course to first floor, five 2-
light cyma mullioned windows with one sash and one fixed to each.
One hipped dormer to roof. To rear is outshot and C20 extension.
