Village school. 1849-52. Coursed rubble stone with ashlar
dressings, plain concrete tiled roof. Single-storey, 2-window
front. Large gabled porch, now school office has Tudor-arched
ribbed door with hoodmould, inscription over records building and
opening of school, steep roof with wavy barge boards, 2-light
mullioned window either side with cusped lights and hoodmoulds.
Left and right returns are gable ends with 3-light square-headed
Perpendicular-style windows with hoodmoulds, good cusped barge
boards. Rear lobby, now school kitchen has chamfered Tudor-arched
doorway. C20 additions to rear. Good example of small village
school.
