House, C17, possibly earlier, whitewashed chalk and timber-frame
with thatched roof and end stacks. Two storeys, 3-window chalk
front with low angle buttresses in ashlar and leaded casements,
triple each side, pair to centre over door in elaborate timber
porch with stone slate roof. Seats with carved bench-ends and
twisted balusters behind, possibly early C18. Chalk west wall.
Timber-framed east wall with raised cruck truss and collar. First
floor triple casement. Square-framed rear wall with painted brick
infill and casement windows.
