Compton House estate farmhouse, c1860, possibly on earlier core,
whitewashed chalk with ashlar dressings and stone slate eaves roof.
Ashlar end stacks and ridge stack. Two storeys, 4-window front of
3-light leaded stone mullion windows, two bays to left of door one
to right. Lower windows have hoodmoulds. Six-panel door in
ashlar-fronted gabled porch with Tudor-arched entry flanked by
Tudor-arched lancets. North-west rear wing has 2-window range of
similar 3-light windows.
