Pair of houses, dated 1642, altered in C19, whitewashed chalk rubble with Bridgwater tiles, end
stacks and ridge stack. Two storeys, 4-window range originally of 4-light timber-mullion
windows. Doors in outer bays. No 43 has triple casement windows, No 42 four-light
casements, all C19. West end wall of No 42 has datestone 1642 WI, first floor 4-light casement
with head of original timber-mullion window and ground floor triple casement with moulded
timber lintel.
