Early C19 recasing of C16 timber frame. 2 storeys and attic gable to front.
Mathematical tiles. New brick in gable. Steep pitch gable end old tile
roof, longer pitch to south. Small 6 pane attic window, flush frame with
ogee shaped board to lintel. 1st floor flush framed sash window with
similar lintel board and plain wood entablature with curved top. Late C19
shop with heavy fluted pilasters, entrance set across corner. Side elevation
to passage has 1st floor slate clad overhang.

Nos 26 to 40 (even) and Nos 46 to 54 (even) form a group.
