Cooper monument in the churchyard, about 6 metres south of tower of Church of St. Thomas a Becket.

Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Fine monument has plinth,
oval fielded panel with egg and dart moulding and angels in
spandrels to main sides, flanked by urns with drapery, quarter
balusters to corners, oval end panels, grooved frieze with rosettes
and shallow weathered top. William Cooper, the master of Tilshead
Boarding School, died 1804.
