Farmhouse, gable to road. C17 and C19. Timber framed clad in tile
hanging, the frame partly replaced in brick. Tiled roof. Three
bays, with forward parlour wing of c1910, all brick and at rear, a
single storey bakehouse extension. Stack between second and third
bays and rear stack to bay 1 nearest road. Boarded door against
forward wing on south side, and tripartite paned windows.
Interior has exposed framing on upper floor, with jowled posts'and
corner braces. Some wattle and daub infilling surviving. Panelled
doors. Roof said to contain unlit servants' rooms, not seen. Rear
extension has large fireplace and corner bake oven, and leaded
window.
