2/128 Tudor Cottage
Detached cottage. Mid Cl7, altered 1980's. Rubble stone and
square panelled timber-framing with brick nogging, thatched roof,
stone stack. L-plan, gable-end baffle-entry. Entrance now in
weatherboarded C20 extension on first floor level; cottage built
on side of hill. Two-storey, 2-windowed. Rear has C20 door in
limestone porch to right with 3-light casement over. Rear wing has
3-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement to return and C20
mullioned casement and leaded casement to rear, hipped roof. Right
return has C20 mullioned casement to ground floor and two 2-light
and one single casement to first floor. Interior not accessible at
time of survey (September 1985), but said to retain chamfered beams
and open fireplace.
